Independent information website
Cave Dweller Mod is an independent informational website created to help Minecraft players research Cave Dweller-style mods, compatible versions, loaders, installation steps and gameplay considerations. Unless a specific page expressly states otherwise, this website is not operated, sponsored or endorsed by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, CurseForge, Modrinth, or the developers of the third-party projects discussed here.
Mod and asset ownership
References to mod names are made for identification and commentary. We do not claim ownership of third-party mod binaries, source code, models, textures, sounds, logos, screenshots, project artwork or other creator-owned materials. Those works remain subject to the rights, licenses and conditions chosen by their respective owners.
Our own written explanations and site design should not be interpreted as transferring or replacing a mod creator’s license. If you are a rights holder and believe a page needs correction or attribution changes, use the Contact Us page.
External downloads and links
The download hub is designed to direct visitors to recognized external project listings rather than re-labeling third-party jar files as files owned by this site. External websites control their own files, advertising, security practices, availability, terms and licenses. Always confirm the author, Minecraft version, loader, dependency list and file name on the destination page before installing anything.
Compatibility and saved worlds
Modded Minecraft environments vary by game version, loader version, Java version, dependencies, configuration and the other mods in a pack. A setup that works for one player may not work for another. Information on this site is educational guidance, not a guarantee that a particular file will work on every device or world.
Back up important worlds, configuration files and modpacks before making significant changes. If a game fails to start after installation, work through the troubleshooting guide and re-check the version comparison.
Accuracy and changing information
We aim to make our guides useful and clear, but third-party projects can be updated, moved, renamed, archived or discontinued without notice. Version support and dependencies can also change after an article is published. Readers should treat the linked project page and current release notes as the final source for a specific file’s requirements.
Gameplay and performance
Horror mods can intentionally use loud audio, darkness, jump scares or stressful encounters. Players should adjust game volume, brightness, difficulty and other settings to suit their comfort. Performance can also vary depending on hardware, render distance, shaders and the rest of a modpack.
